Composition
For 1 film coated tablet:
- Risperidone: 2 mg
- Excipients: (Lactose, Tapioca starch, Povidone, Magnesium stearate, Aerosil, HPMC, Talc, Titanium dioxide, Sunset yellow color, PEG 6000) q.s: 1 tablet
Indication
- Risperidone is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic schizophrenia, in which positive symptoms (such as hallucinations, abnormal thoughts, hostility, paranoia), and/or negative symptoms (such as doltish, emotional and social withdrawal, poverty of speech) are prominent.
- Risperidone may also alleviate affective symptoms (such as depression, guilt feelings, anxiety) associated with schizophrenia.
